Just a few things that I wanted to put in the liner notes of posterity from my attendance at this seminar from the New Baptist Covenant:
-Youth need to be involved in all aspects of the church.
-The best youth ministers are the people who are never asked to do it.
-Facebook and MySpace are key tools for communication.
-Indifference is contagious in any setting
-Always discipline youth in a way that brings them towards you not away from you.
-You must talk about the issues that youth want to talk about.
-You can give youth freedom to roam but you must show them where the fence is.
-Parents should be the primary youth ministers.
